Easterland Noble Houses Mentioned

Since Enderal contains a lot of noble Houses I decided to help some possible confusion over noble Houses that has been mentioned. Here you can read about all mentioned Houses and a tiny bit about what their involvement was.

Carstein
Heraldry
Field: Red
Sigil: White skeleton
Castle: Deadhallow Keep, also owns the large city of Karhold
Laengos Carstein was the eldest son of Lord Carstein and was married to Princess Jhaenera.

Blackling

Sigil: White skull with two spears through
Castle: Dark Cove Keep
Lord Balthazar Blackling’s four children all hold a place in Princess Jhaenera’s inner circle of companions.

Silverstag

Sigil: Stag of silver
Castle: Silverhall Castle, Summer Hall Estate, capital city Culhaven
They were the ruling family in the Easterlands, ruled currently by Queen Scarlet I also known as the Red Queen. She had three children, all daughters. Princess Serene the Obsidian Knight, Princess Jhaenera and Princess Myna the Kingdoms Delight, as she was oft referred to because of her spoken beauty.
The Red Queen’s sister Faena was married to Berwyn Volkien, King of the Riverlands.

Oakenshield

Castle: Oaken Citadel, owns the harbor city of Oakenport
Lady Dawn Oakenshield was a member of this House. She was a friend to Princesses Jhaenera and Myna and had an impressive network of spies. Lord Oakenshield-her father-had a seat on the Red Queen’s Council.

Lord Roman Jagon participated in the Tourney at Summer Hall Estate held in Prince Rhaemon’s honor when he turned thirteen.

Castle: Heavenly Garden Palace
The Knight Sir Anton Mayflower was a member of this House. He was also a friend of Princess Jhaenera and part of her inner circle of companions.

Pennyrose

Sigil: Four black castles

In their mountains they had quarries of white stone. They had four castles, all along the western seaboard, always vigilant for Nordling and Norsemen longboats coming to raid.
His second son Sir Peter the Mild fought at the tourney held in honor of Prince Rhaemon’s birthday.

Castle: Storm Keep
Lord Mance Storm was known as the Wild Storm. He participated in the tourney at Summer Hall Estate and won the melee. He wielded a Longsword he had named Sistersbane.

Sir Mont the Young Montelyn was a boy of fifteen that fought in the tourney at Summer Hall in the honor of Prince Rhaemon.

Castle: Goldtooth Keep
Lord Orkwood’s son fought in the tourney at Summer Hall in Prince Rhaemon’s honor.

The Lord Commander of the Red Queen’s Ashguards, the man known as the Disfigured Giant, was a Payneheart.

Lord Leopold the Lion was known as a great swordsman and he fought in the tourney at Summer Hall in Prince Rhaemon’s honor. He was one of the last champions in the melee.

Lord Sweetwater’s daughter Jeyne was married to Lord Penton Pennyrose.

Count Renly Throolyn had an issue with the neighboring Count Ally Viper. There was a Throolyn in the Ashguard.

The wandering knight Daemon Drakefyre was of this House, though it is unknown why he acts the part of a wandering knight. He had some relations of a sort with Princess Jhaenera, though the specifics is unknown.

Volkien

Sigil: Four Arrows
The Volkiens was the royal family on the Riverlands.

Dawa Mountain Houses
Costayne

Field: Four Quarterly, white & blue
Sigil: Red swords & shields, one on each Quarterly
Castle: Blackhall Castle, Town of Blackbough
The former bastard and adventurer Costayne was legitimized and brought across the world to lead the House when her uncle died. She dreamed of reclaiming the Costaynes lost Easterland crown. A crown presently worn by the Red Queen.
